As founder and CEO of New Life Ministries, Pastor Ellison executes God’s vision for his ministry--one church--seven locations.

Powerfully anointed to lead, he steers the course of a successful multi-faceted, multi-million dollar ministry made up of philanthropic services, multiple community outreach initiatives, a theological institute, daycare ministry, job skills center, 24-hour all Christian radio station and television broadcast ministry and diverse counseling services housed in six churches dispersed centrally around the Montgomery, Alabama.

In the thirteen years since its inception, New Life has grown from an eight-member church in 1993 to a worldwide ministry with more than 4,000 members, making New Life one of the fastest growing churches in Montgomery. On the regional and national levels, Pastor Ellison has demonstrated progressive leadership as Superintendent of the Harvest District within the Church of God In Christ (COGIC), one of the largest Pentecostal church denominations with a membership of more than 8.8 million worldwide. In addition, he is a highly sought after speaker and has served as spiritual advisor to former Alabama Governor Fob James, and a host of local and state leaders. He has appeared alongside some of the nation’s leading evangelists including Benny Hinn, Reinhard Bonnke, and many of God’s generals.

His weekly television series, “Harvest For Souls” airs on TBN, UPN and LIFE TV affiliates in Montgomery, Mobile, Huntsville and Birmingham---reaching an audience of thousands across Alabama. For years, Pastor Ellison appeared on The Word Network every Tuesday morning at 5:30 EST that had a viewing audience of over eighty one million people. In July 2003 he preached on the worldwide TBN Praise The Lord (PTL) show. Since that time, he has made several guest appearances on Praise The Lord.

Locally, Pastor Ellison’s commitment to putting God’s Word in action is evidenced by his tireless efforts to serve the community. Annually, he sponsors crusades in the city’s most poverty–stricken areas and distributes groceries and offers encouragement by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of those who might not otherwise hear God’s message. Pastor Ellison has also spearheads the Jesus for Montgomery Crusade, a citywide evangelical movement that crosses all racial, ethnic, and denominational lines to unite the city for Christ. He is also active in Convoy of Hope, Medical Alliance, and the Montgomery Literacy Council.
